Hey Y'all!

My name is LeAnna Faith Truesdale, and my hometown is in Manchester, TN. If my hometown sounds familiar to you, you probably live in TN or have heard of the music festival, Bonnaroo, which takes place here once a year. Besides Manchester being my hometown, I also lived in Las Cruces, NM for 2 and a half years, Murfreesboro, TN for a year, and Nashville, TN for a semester. I was born in 1991 and am the youngest of 3 kids.

Back in the summer of 2010, I felt God's call to work in the mission field. I have loved missions and helping people my entire life. I have participated with many different types of outreach anywhere from group work camp--building ramps and painting houses; being a vbs leader; working in a soup kitchen or food pantry to going on 10 day long trips to places like Pattaya, Thailand (2008) and Guatemala City, Guatemala (2009).

I have a 2 year degree in Social Work from Motlow State Community College. My second dream besides being a missionary, is to create an assisted living/nursing home facility that meets the needs of the upcoming baby boomer population.

11 Random Fun Facts:

1. I was born on February 2nd (Groundhogs Day).

2. I absolutely love rainbow tie dye.

3. I can speak a little bit of Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

4. I know how to use chopsticks.

5. Before I signed up for the world race, I remember wishing that there was an all Asia route, and now there is! Yay!:)

6. I am a chocoholic, and my favorites are dark or mixed with peanut butter (reeses).

7. I love to bake! My specialties are chocolate oatmeal cookies & red velvet cheesecake, but I can make anything.

8. Photography is my favorite hobby.

9. Rainy days make me smile.

10. I wear my heart on my sleeve

11. I am in a committed relationship with a wonderful man, and we've been together since 10/11/10.

Most importantly though, if it weren't for God, and Jesus Christ, my lord and savior, I would not be here today. God has watched over me my entire life. He holds me close in both the exciting and dull moments of life. He has put people in my life to show me my worth, my talent, and a vision to love others the way he loves me, and I am so grateful. I don't deserve his love, but he loves me anyway. I have made my fair share of mistakes, but God has forgiven me. My God is an Awesome God, and he has placed me on solid ground to be a servant of his plan and love. God is indeed love, and Jesus definitely does save. He saved me. I learn something new every day, and I am so thankful. God has made me a stronger person. I have no regrets. None. I am a living testimony, just like you are a living testimony. God bless you, each and every one of you.
